Service Description:
Oregon Family to Family Health Information Center operates a call-in center for family members of children and youth with special needs and chronic health conditions (developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral problems and chronic physical illnesses) and professionals who serve them. The center specializes in providing information and resources related to health information, health care access, and special needs systems and supports. Phone calls will be responded to within two business days. All calls are confidential. Families may also request to be placed on an e-mail or postal mailing list to receive regular correspondence about issues of importance to children and youth with special needs in Oregon. Call and leave a message. A staff member will return your call within two business days.

Service Description:
Providence Neurodevelopmental Center for Children: Provides a comprehensive, family-centered approach to helping children with developmental needs, from infancy through adolescence. Developmental pediatricians work together with a psychologist, therapist, audiologist, dietitian and social worker to create individualized programs for each child. Specialists(developmental pediatricians, pediatric psychologist, speech, physical and occupational therapists, audiologists, social workers and nutritionists) use state-of-the-art technology to assess the developmental progress in gross motor skills, fine motor skills or speech/language skills. Work with families to create personalized treatment programs.
Center for Medically Fragile Children: The only pediatric skilled nursing facility in the Pacific Northwest, providing 24-hour long-term, short-term, respite and end-of-life care to medically fragile children and young people ranging in age from infancy to 21 years.
Pediatric long-term care is round-the-clock care in a pediatric nursing facility for children who have profound disabilities and complex medical conditions.
Pediatric recreational therapy
Recreational therapists provide recreational activities and treatment for patients with disabilities or illnesses.
Pediatric short-stay medical management
Short-stay medical management is available for children who need nutrition assessment and support, seizure management, medication management.
Pediatric specialty dental care
The pediatric specialty dental clinic is located within Providence Child Center where pediatric dentists and staff provide specialized dental service.
Respite care for medically fragile children
Caring for a child with complex medical needs offering help for families meeting the challenge.
